Regent’s International School Bangkok, a British day and boarding school for students ages 2-18, was recently represented at the Education Fair at the Eden Zone in Central World.
Talented Regent’s singers and other musicians performed in front of a very enthusiastic audience. Well done to everyone involved.

Open House is from 9.00 to 12.00 for Primary and Secondary (Years 1 to 13) and 14.00 to 15.30 for Pre-Nursery to Reception.
Visiting families will meet with the Principal, the Heads of the Schools and many teaching staff. In addition, you will get to know about the admissions process, the school curriculum and student life at Regent’s.

Regent’s International School Bangkok annual English Department speech competition took place last week on the theme: ‘a person I admire.’ Winners were Kenzo in Year 7, Tonnam in Year 8, Zak in Year 9 and Sadhu in Year 10. As ever, the standard of our students was high, reflecting the continuing commitment to excellence in spoken English and persuasive writing skills across the English department.
On Thursday, 13 September Ariya Laothitipong (Jija) in Year 10 at Regent’s International School Bangkok was invited by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Thailand Foundation) to perform a concert for an invited audience of ambassadors, diplomats and guests at CW tower, Bangkok.
In a dazzling display of talent for such a young pianist she performed pieces including Liszt’s Rigoletto Paraphrase, Haydn’s Sonata in C Major and the highly entertaining Serpent’s Kiss by William Bolcom.
Jija is now a regular performer in different countries and was the first Thai musician to win First Prize at the International Fran Liszt Competition for young pianists at Weimar, Germany in 2017.

ชนะใจกรรมการกับความสามารถในการแข่งขันขี่ม้าของน.ส.สุดา ศิริมณีวัชร หรือหมวย สาวน้อยคนเก่งปัจจุบันเรียนอยู่ชั้น Year 11 ที่โรงเรียนนานาชาติรีเจ้นท์ กรุงเทพ คว้าถ้วยรางวัลชนะเลิศด้านการแข่งขันบังคับควบคุมม้า และรางวัลที่ 3 ด้านการกระโดดของม้า จากการแข่งขัน President’s Cup 2017 ที่เมืองพัทยาเมื่อเร็วๆ นี้ ทั้งนี้หมวยได้เริ่มต้นฝึกหัดขี่ม้าตั้งแต่อายุ 6 ขวบ ด้วยความมุ่งมั่นและตั้งใจฝึกซ้อมทำให้เธอก้าวขึ้นสู่แชมป์ของวงการได้อย่างสวยงาม
ปรบมือดังๆ ให้กับ Shi Benxing หรือสตีเฟ่น นักเรียนสัญชาติไทย-จีน ปัจจุบันอายุ 11 ปี เรียนอยู่ชั้น Year 6 ของโรงเรียนนานาชาติรีเจ้นท์กรุงเทพ สามารถคว้ารางวัลที่ 5 จากการแข่งขัน ทรูวิชั่นส์ จูเนียร์ กอล์ฟ ประจำปีค.ศ. 2017 สตีเฟ่นได้เริ่มหัดเล่นกอล์ฟตั้งแต่อายุ 6 ขวบ โดยเล่าว่าได้จัดสรรเวลาหลังเลิกเรียนเพื่อพัฒนาฝีมือการเล่นกอล์ฟ ที่สำคัญการเล่นกีฬายังฝึกความมีระเบียบวินัยและทำให้มีสมาธิในการเรียนมากยิ่งขึ้น www.regents.ac.th
